Rick Ross and his MMG label have had a pretty good year and
it looks like they are not easing up at all to close the year out. Even
with the current incarceration of Meek Mill, the Maybach Empire has definitely
left its mark on the year 2014.
Let’s recap MMG’s 2014.
Earlier in the year Rozay released his 6th studio album, Mastermind, which debuted at #1. Fellow MMG artist Meek Mill was all over the
radio and mixtape circuit before landing himself in prison. Currently, Stalley’s Ohio LP is available for purchase, selling over 10,000 copies its
first week. We also can’t forget about
Wale who can recently be found hanging out with comedian Jerry Seinfeld. The Washington, D.C. rapper just announced
that he will be embarking on the “Simply Nothing” tour hitting 32 cities
beginning on New Year’s Day. Now to put
the icing on the cake…Rick Ross will be releasing a second album this year
scheduled to drop next Tuesday and The Roundtable Empire has the full album one
week earlier for your listening pleasure.
The album features guest appearances from Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, R. Kelly,
and more, with production from Timbaland,
Statik Selektah, Metro Boomin,
and DJ Toomp. You can listen to the Hood Billionaire album in its entirety here.
