I know summer is almost over and that for most of us it either went too soon or it felt like it never truly came. However, the reuniting of Will Smith (or The Fresh Prince for anyone born prior to 2000) and DJ Jazzy Jeff over the weekend just confirmed two things. One, that it is most definitely summertime, no matter how it went. Two, that this song is still the official summertime anthem.
The newly reunited duo hit the stage at the Palms in Las Vegas on Friday. It’s been a while since Will and Jeff performed together, but they picked up right where they left off. I’m not exactly sure why Will went shirtless though, but who I am to judge. Check out the performance below and as an added bonus the original video to “Summertime” is also below.
