T.I. is ready to embark on an all-new journey. With his highly anticipated 9th studio album dropping real soon, T.I. is launching from unfamiliar waters. He’s on a new label and he’s got a new executive producer, but it’s these exact changes that make this next album special. This will be Tip’s first album in nearly two years and his first album to be released on Columbia Records. Pharrell, who orchestrated T.I.’s signing to Columbia, is the album’s executive producer, and also the music maker behind his latest track “Paperwork.” The track title serves as the album title as well, so you know this album is all about that paper. Whether it’s getting that paper, or someone being on someone’s papers; this album will surely speak on it.
Pharrell lends his soulful sounding vocals as T.I. paints us
a picture. This song provides listeners
with a sound that could be heard in something like the Chitling Circuit or
better yet, it sounds like it could have been featured on the classic movie
“Dead Presidents." It puts you in that
